Hello, my darlings! One of the things I enjoy the most about blogging – if not the one I enjoy the most – is showing you that looking chic is not a matter of money. This $26 dress is a great example! I was going to wear it the other night to go to the Sports Illustrated fashion show here in Miami, but Lennox was not feeling well, and I decided not to go. I ended up wearing it for date night the day after that and, let me tell you, it is a show-stopper. I love that the neckline is kind of daring and the skirt has a more relaxed fit which makes the dress easy to wear. It is all about balance. The dress fits a little big, so size down, and also comes in black – which I may try next.(more…)
Happy Monday, my darlings! Green is one of my fave colors for clothing, so it took very little for me to fall in love for this Jollychic dress. The cut is gorgeous, the fabric is super flattering and the price – only $27 – is simply perfect! The dress’ color is so gorgeous, I decided to do an unexpected combination with the accessories to make it pop even more. I love these fringe sandals and – this does not always happen with this kind of shoe – they are actually very comfy. I also added by very fave blue bag and I really like how they all look together.
Hope that you are having an awesome beginning of the week! Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Monday, my darlings! I have worn this dress at least three times already, and I believe I have had it for about ten days…LOL! It is THAT pretty! The fabric is not only stunning but also really soft. The straight cut makes it really comfy to wear, and the sleeves are attached in such a great way that it does not stop you from moving your arms, as some other tops/dresses in this style do. Another thing that I love about it is that the fabric is fancy enough to dress it up, and the length is perfect if you want to dress it down. I think that it would look super cute with these studded sandals for a more casual look.
I paired my dress with my new pair of nude pumps. I have looked for so long for super high heel nude pumps, and I am so happy to have found these for only $50. Nude pumps are just so versatile! Looking forward to wearing them non-stop!
It is quite surprising to me that thrifting was not even on my radar up until very recently. Well, when it comes to fashion. I have bought tons of furniture that I’ve refinished and sold for several years now. One day, while browsing for furniture with my mom, she went to the clothes section and found this awesome Ann Taylor dress for $9! Right there and then, I became a believer.
One of the main goals of this blog is to provide ideas on how to wear affordable clothes looking fabulous while doing so. So even though you probably won’t be able to find this exact dress or shoes right now, I hope that the ideas that I’ll give you below will fit your budget or that you find similar items in your closet and you just didn’t think of putting them together like this.
