IN PINK

Pink is not a color that there is a lot of in my closet, but every now and then I enjoy it and I feel pretty girly wearing it 🙂 If you follow me on Instagram, you may remember that one Sunday when I was bored and decided to paint my shoes; as a result, I “revived” two pairs of shoes that I had not worn in forever. I just used some masking tape and nail polish.

Happy Wednesday!

TAKE TWO

As some of you may know, I spent a couple of days in NYC a few days back. Even though I planned to take a few pictures while there (including of this outfit), I have been battling a sinus infection for the last week so taking the camera with me was not even on my radar when I pushed myself out of bed to go to work to NYC. I love this outfit so much, though, that I decided to wear it again for a Sunday lunch date with my hubby (and as an excuse to share it with you gals).

Happy Monday, everybody!

DRESSY DENIM

I love this skirt, and I really do not wear it very often. I tend to gravitate more towards my pencil ones, but there is something very feminine about this cut that I also love. I paired with a denim top because I wanted to make the outfit a little bit more fun and casual for the day. Tomorrow, I am heading to NYC for a little bit of work and a little bit of fun. I look forward to sharing a few pics with you all next week.

Happy Wednesday!

IF I WAS A BOY

I believe that I have spent about 50% of my shopping time this summer either at the children’s section or at the men’s section browsing for clothes for myself 🙂 What can I say? Those retailers know exactly what they are doing. They know that mom’s and men will not follow trends as much as women; therefore, prices are ridiculously lower at these other sections. Case in point, this awesome graphic tee that I found at JCPenney’s men section for $4.99! If you follow me on Instagram, you know by now that there is not a good graphic tee that I can resist. The other day, I almost bought a Batman one that came with a cape 🙂

I hope that you are having a fabulous Labor Day!

WATERFRONT

As you know by now, Fridays are all about fabulous finds under $50, but I am making an exception today because we are almost ready for a long weekend that many of us will spend at the beach. When I was younger, going to the beach meant grabbing an oversized tank, a pair of shorts, and some flip flops. As I got older, I wanted to also look fab at the beach and started exploring more options. Today, there are some coverups that pretty much look like regular clothes. This one from Jordan Taylor has a cut that I love, the high-low, and the pattern could not be more gorgeous. Jordan Taylor is having a massive Labor Day sale – everything is 50% off until 9/2 – and you know I love a good sale! Enjoy!

Wishing a happy and safe Labor Day weekend!
