MATERNITY DRESS - STYLE PLEDGE BLOG

Happy Monday, my darlings! I hope that you all enjoyed a wonderful holiday weekend surrounded by lots of love by your favorite people. I also hope that you got a chance to slow down; I sure did, and I really needed it, as my last few weeks of pregnancy are projected to be quite hectic. Today, I am sharing with you the most special shoot I’ve been part of, because it is my maternity shoot to remember how I looked just a few weeks before welcoming my baby boy into the world. I have to confess that I got super emotional during it and then after I saw the pictures that the super talented Dan Hunter took. I got emotional because they were shot at a very special time. Only a year ago, I had lost my 1st baby – also in December – and I was overwhelmed by emotion seeing what an incredible difference only a year can make in someone’s life.

If you were not aware of my loss, I shared a post on Instagram where I really wanted to encourage women who have experienced it (and also those struggling with infertility) to stay positive and let go of anxiety, because I wholeheartedly believe that the best that you can do to help this process is understand that it is a natural process and help your body get to a natural state of relaxation and peace of mind.

MATERNITY DRESS - STYLE PLEDGE

The dress Mii-Estilo custom made for me is an absolute dream. I cannot begin to describe how special and beautiful this dress is. The fit is gorgeous and so is the color. I really could not have asked for a better dress for such a special set of pictures. I so love it!

I wanted to end the post with this SPECTACULAR picture. I adore the shot with all the palm trees and my facial expression really says it all. I am so grateful for this baby, I am so grateful for this experience – and, if you follow me on Instagram, you know it has not been the easiest – I am grateful that I will get to meet my baby boy in just a few weeks. And I am so grateful that I get to look at these forever and remember and cherish these days and share them with my baby boy in a few years.

Thank you for stopping by!

xoxo

Sandy
